Customer Quality Manager

Danfoss Sensing Solutions (SEN) provides sensors to a broad variety of customers in different applications and market segments such as Mobile Hydraulic, H(V)AC/R, Industry, Marine, Water and Wind. Sensing Solutions operates globally with main sites in Denmark, Germany, China and as of 2024 in Mexico.

In line with our ambitious growth journey, we have an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Customer Quality Manager. You will be a member of the global SEN QEHS Team and report directly to the global head of SEN QEHS.

Your Job Responsibilities

Review Customer requirements and evaluate compliance with Danfoss Sensing Solutions business, processes, and tools

Manage Customer APQP / PPAP process incl. tools (train, advise, participate in execution, improve continuously)

Contribute to Customer claim handling with focus on OEM and complex cases

Facilitate or lead severe Quality situations (Risk assessments, 8D etc.)

Contribute to large projects (new product development or capacity expansion) with focus on review of Customer requirements, change notifications and Audits

Communicate with Customers (virtual or F2F meetings, mails, Customer Portals or alike) in close cooperation with other functions

Participate in Customer requested self-assessments and/or Audits

Participate in Manufacturing Process Audits at SEN sites plus 3rd Party ISO/IATF Audits (virtually)

Contribute to Quality key initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Your Profile

Bachelor´s degree in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience

Some years of Quality experience with a focus on Customer and cross-functional internal cooperation, preferably in the area of industrial manufacturing, such as electric, electronic, or mechatronic products

Advanced knowledge and experience in Quality core tools and related standards such as ISO 9001 and ideally IATF 16949

Ability to communicate fact-based and appropriate to all internal and external management levels

Ability to work self-driven in a cross-functional, global team environment across time zones

Management skills such as change management, coaching, team facilitation, and analytical problem-solving but also business acumen

Proactive mindset with drive for continuous improvement

Strengths in persistence and structured work methods

Proficiency in MS Office tools, preferably knowledge of Power BI and SAP

Very good communication skills in English

Flexibility regarding travelling globally (approx. 10-20%)
