We are on the lookout for passionate solution manager to join our Heavy Industry Centre of Excellence (CoE) team at Chennai. Join an exciting journey with Danfoss as we Decarbonize the Heavy Industry segment through our electrification solution. In this role, you will be at the forefront to support solution sales across India.

As a Solution Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging technical design with customer satisfaction. Armed with deep product knowledge and market specific expertise, you will ensure that our solutions not only meet but exceed customer expectations. With exposure to a diverse range of technologies and processes, you can expect a rewarding journey of continuous learning & professional growth.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following.

• Provide engineering support to our sales managers in pre-sales activities.

• Designing electrical systems based on drives & power converters, Integrating Danfoss power converters with motors, grid connections, batteries etc…

• Explore system simulations and other electrical studies for system design along with our customers.

• Develop and deliver solutions based on Danfoss power converters to Heavy industry requirements, cranes, power plants and Oil / gas refineries.

• Travel to customers for trainings, seminars, solution sales, trouble shooting and commissioning support.

• Training of customers and colleagues on Danfoss products, applications and solutions.

• Assist sales managers to secure the projects.

• Lead the project team during execution of projects to customer satisfaction.

• Support in identification & qualification of new suppliers and development of new suppliers.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and consultant.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a related degree.

• In-depth knowledge of Heavy Industry applications

• Strong knowledge about Industrial Automation & Customer Applications.

• 15 + years’ experience in Drives & Automation.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.

• Quality mindset and ability to go to details by asking questions.

• High motivation and leading by examples.

• Skills and qualifications to open and work in electrical cabinets.

• Availability to travel for local & global projects.

• Experience in handling retrofit projects.

• Experience in leading a team & People Management skills
